Hello everyone!

Welcome to my totally new and upgraded website. Here you can find all information about my career as a percussionist, ethnomusicologist and composer. Basically the website offers two different directions; one for my work as a musician and one for my work as a musicologist.

The former gives you insights in my playing on stage and in the studio, in my instruments and setups and keeps you up to date where and when you can catch me live. Hopefully my home studio will be operational next year. Here it will be possible to let me play percussion on your own album, all custom produced according to your wishes.

The latter offers various scientific papers that I wrote throughout the years, including my final thesis ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’, about the emerging of the New Percussionist in the Netherlands and Belgium. It also offers links to sites that are well worth reading.
